Cowboys final pre-season trial confirmed

The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys will round out the 2020 pre-season with a trial against the Melbourne Storm on Saturday, February 29.

To be played at Casey Fields in Cranbourne East, the Storm clash will be the final fixture of an action-packed pre-season for the Cowboys.

The pre-season schedule kicks off with the NRL Nines in Perth on February 14-15, which will be followed by the Cowboys first trial against the Broncos in Cairns on Saturday, February 22.

The club could also have players taking part in the NRL All Stars game on February 22, with Scott Drinkwater (Indigenous), Esan Marsters and Jordan McLean (Maori) currently involved in the voting process.

All this preludes the Cowboys blockbuster season-opener against arch-rivals Brisbane at the brand new North Queensland Stadium on Friday, March 13.
