3 Cowboys Women’s Academy players named for Indigenous All Stars camp

Three members of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Women’s Academy have been named to take part in this weekend’s Indigenous All Stars camp.

Academy trio Jenni-Sue Hoepper, Steph Mooka and Shania Power will travel to Sydney for the two day camp ahead of February’s All Stars game on the Gold Coast.

Hoepper, who was the inaugural Dally M Women’s Player of the Year in 2015, returned to Origin this season after taking a break following the birth of her daughter.

Based in Cairns, Mooka saw a rapid rise through the ranks in 2019, representing Queensland Country, the Maroons and the Dragons in NRLW.

Meanwhile, Bowen product Power was a part of the Queensland Country squad that competed at the Women’s National Championships in June.
