North Queensland Toyota Cowboys centre Dan Russell has helped the Papua New Guinea Kumuls to a historic 28-10 win over the Great Britain Lions in Port Moresby.
Russell, who played in the second-row, had a team-high 34 tackles, to go along with 99 running metres and 31 post-contact metres.
Saturday’s win marked the first time the Kumuls have defeated the Lions since 1990.
