Junior Cowboy named in Australian Schoolboys squad

Junior contracted North Queensland Toyota Cowboys young gun Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow continued his remarkable 2019 season with an Australian Schoolboys berth after a stellar National Championships campaign last week.

Tabuai-Fidow was a standout for the Queensland Secondary Schools side, who were crowned National Champions after toppling NSW Combined Catholic Colleges 34-10 in the championship final.

The 17-year-old scored four tries in as many games over the course of the carnival, including a double in an opening day draw with NSWCCC.

Tabuai-Fidow has enjoyed a sensational 2019 season. The Cairns-product scored a phenomenal 15 tries in just six Mal Meninga Cup game to start the season before graduating to the under 20s Hastings Deering Colts where he has crossed six times in four games.

The Australian Schoolboys side will take on the New Zealand under 19s side in a one-off test in Brisbane on Sunday, September 29.
