Former North Queensland Toyota Cowboys premiership-winning fullback Lachlan Coote has sent out a message to the people of North Queensland following the current flood situation.
Coote, who is currently playing with St Helens in the English Super League, said he and his wife are thinking of everyone in North Queensland.
“My wife and I are sending our love from the UK,” Coote said.
“We still can’t believe the devastation that is happening over there.
“It’s really breaking our hearts to see a place that still means so much and we still call home in disarray.
“I just wanted to say good luck with everything.
“It’s good to see the community come together and helping each other out.
“Stay positive guys and stay safe."
