Season review: Shaun Hudson

After missing the entire 2017 season with a torn ACL, Shaun Hudson returned to play 23 games in 2018.

The 23-year-old failed to make an NRL appearance, but was a model of consistency for a strong Townsville Blackhawks outfit.

Hudson also proved a versatile asset for Blackhawks coach Kristian Woolf.

Generally regarded as a centre, Hudson played a number of games at five-eighth this season and produced some excellent performances.

Hudson departed the Cowboys at the end of the 2018 season after three seasons at the club.

2018 stats (Queensland Cup):

Games: 23
Tries: 3
Tackle breaks: 41
Average runs: 8
Average run metres: 70
Average tackles: 13
