North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have welcomed Techfront to the major partner family, bringing with it exciting technological benefits set to transform the game day experience for partners, members and fans from 2018.

The Cowboys have signed with Techfront on a multi-year deal which will see their logo feature on the front of the NRL playing shorts.

The partnership will deliver a host of innovative technological assets to North Queensland, revolutionising the way fans experience their beloved sport of rugby league.

North Queensland Cowboys CEO Greg Tonner said the club was proud to partner with an internationally recognised icon in the sports industry, choosing a brand platform in the Cowboys to help continue their growth in the Australian market.

“This holistic partnership includes being able to access the full list of capabilities Techfront are able to offer, providing more engagement opportunities for our partners, members and fans at our home games,” Tonner said.

“As we prepare to migrate to our new stadium in 2020, the partnership primarily allows us to test the technology now in our current stadium to perfect the game day experience moving forward – it’s an exciting prospect, and one we’ll fully embrace.”

Having grown substantially in the past 18 months, both organically and through strategic acquisitions, Techfront have a vision of connecting every person in Australian and New Zealand through their media channels and technologies.

Techfront CEO Neil Maxwell said the partnership is about aligning with success and aspiring to learn together through continual improvement.

“Techfront is proud to be a partner of the Cowboys. We like to align with success! Through this partnership we will provide new technologies for the club and assist in their clear aspiration to be the best.”

“In the process, we will learn from the team’s ever-present challenge of continual improvement as well as the administration’s desire to be at the leading edge,” Mr Maxwell said.

Techfront and the Cowboys will work collaboratively during the off-season to bring new innovations from round one of the 2018 season.
