Premiership-winning North Queensland Toyota Cowboys forward Ethan Lowe will join the XXXX Queensland Maroons today as 18th man for Wednesday's Origin Game II.
The 2016 QAS Emerging Origin squad member will arrive at Camp Maroon at Sanctuary Cove to join club teammates Johnathan Thurston, Matt Scott, Michael Morgan and Justin O'Neill in preparations for the Suncorp Stadium blockbuster.
"I'm excited, I can't wait to get down there and experience the whole week and the build up to the game," Lowe said.
Lowe sees the call-up as a sign of the depth of talent in his team: "It's more a way of looking at how we've been playing as a club – to have so many people in contention for rep teams, it definitely says something about this club."
