North Queensland Toyota Cowboys under-20s fullback Kalyn Ponga will miss up to three weeks of football with a shoulder injury sustained in last week’s 30-all draw with the Dragons.

Ponga’s fullback spot will be taken by regular winger Gideon Gela-Mosby as the young Cowboys look to return to the National Youth Competition winner’s circle against the Knights at 1300SMILES Stadium on Saturday.

Michael Carroll is set to make his NYC debut on the winger, while coach Aaron Payne has named an extended bench.
