North Queensland Toyota Cowboys’ under-20s coach Aaron Payne has named an extended bench heading into Friday’s Round 11 game against the Brisbane Broncos at 1300SMILES Stadium.

Following last week’s 44-38 win over the Melbourne Storm in a 16-try points-fest at Brisbane’s Langlands Park, Payne has retained the bulk of that team for the match against the ninth-placed Broncos.

Nick Brown, who was a late exclusion last week due to injury, has not been named in the 18-man squad, with Emry Pere poised to make his return to the National Youth Competition.

Nick Lui Toso – who was a late replacement for Brown against the Storm in making his NYC debut – retains his place on the interchange bench.

One player will drop out of the 18-man squad.

The game kicks off at 5.35pm at 1300SMILES Stadium, with members and fans encouraged to arrive early for the sold-out event – gates open at 5pm.
