Coach Todd Payten has largely stuck to a winning formula in naming his North Queensland Toyota Cowboys NYC team to take on the Sharks this Saturday at 1300SMILES Stadium.

After downing the Raiders 38-16 in tough conditions away from home at the weekend, the young Cowboys remain in second spot on the NYC ladder with 10 wins, three losses and a draw.

They are equal with Brisbane on 23 competition points, but sit above the Broncos with a one-point advantage in points differential.

Incumbent fullback Yamba Bowie returns to the team after being a late withdrawal last week with a minor hamstring injury, while prolific try-scorer Gideon Mosby returns to his usual wing position.

Coach Todd Payten has selected a five-man bench, with Mitchell Dunn remaining in the selection frame after making his NYC debut in Canberra.
