NORTHERN PRIDE v MACKAY CUTTERS
2pm, Sunday 31 May, Barlow Park

In a clash of two of the three North Queensland Toyota Cowboys feeder teams, the seventh-place Northern Pride (five wins, five losses) host the fourth-placed Mackay Cutters (six wins, four losses) at Cairns’ Barlow Park.

The Pride are backing up from a thrilling last-start 21-20 win over the Wynnum Manly Seagulls at BMD Kougari Oval, while the Cutters suffered a heart-breaking one-point loss (23-22) to the Burleigh Bears at Pizzey Park.

The Pride will be well-served by Cowboys squad members Cameron King, Javid Bowen, Hezron Murgha, Ben Spina and Patrick Kaufusi, while hooker Josh Chudleigh will line up for Mackay.

*The top-placed Townsville Blackhawks (9-2) have the bye this weekend following their bruising last-start 22-16 loss to the PNG Hunters.
