The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys extend our condolences to the family and friends of the late John Livingstone, former principal of Kirwan High School.
John was a tremendous educator, motivator and friend to thousands of students who passed through the halls of the schools he taught at over the last four decades.
Many of his students who progressed through Kirwan’s Rugby League Excellence Program moved into the Cowboys' ranks.
This year alone there are two ex-Kirwan students in the Cowboys NRL squad and six in the NYC squad, all of whom owe a debt of gratitude to John in some way.
John was also a valued Cowboys season member and his unwavering support of the club will be sorely missed.
