Recent NYC debutant Sam Smith has retained his spot on the wing for the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys under-20s' clash with the Warriors at 1300SMILES Stadium this Saturday afternoon.

Coach Todd Payten's squad notched up its fourth win of the season on Monday night, with Smith bagging two tries over the Rabbitohs in his first match in Cowboys colours.

Last night's 38-24 victory has North Queensland placed third on the NYC ladder, going into round 7 of the competition.

The home side face a Warriors outfit who have lost two of their three away games so far this season.
