Members and fans of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys will have some great opportunities to meet the team in Mackay in the lead-up to Saturday night’s pre-season trial against the Brisbane Broncos.

After arriving in town from Townsville on Thursday afternoon, the 23 Cowboys who will take on their Queensland rivals in their opening hit-out of the year will head straight to Mackay Toyota at Autocorner for an hour-long autograph signing and photo session.
In a bonus for Mackay supporters, copies of the new 2015 Cowboys team poster will be available to the public for the first time.
“We encourage Cowboy fans to be at Mackay Toyota by 4.30pm so you don’t miss out on this rare opportunity,” Mackay Toyota manager Ricky Bird said.
“Mackay is host to a huge number of Cowboys fans so we are excited to have them here again.”
Part of the North Queensland Toyota Dealers Group, Mackay Toyota has been backing the Cowboys since 2003.
“These local pre-season matches are great for Mackay and having the opportunity to host a fan signing session here at Mackay Toyota is fantastic for us and the fans,” Mr Bird said.
“We love being able to bring the team to the dealership for our valued clients and Cowboy fans.”
On Thursday night, the Cowboys will host a special members-only function – the first to be staged in Mackay – giving members the chance to mingle with their NRL heroes as well as hear from coach Paul Green on the season ahead.
The team’s final public appearance before game day will be an open training session at Stadium Mackay from 4pm on Friday.
2015 Cowboys memberships will be on sale, team posters will be available for signing, and one lucky fan will win a Mackay Star membership just by entering at the membership tent.
On Sunday morning, Robert Lui and Ben Spina will be guests at the Mackay Sports Expo and Sign-On Day from 10am at the MECC.
