The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys are the only non-Sydney club remaining in contention for the 2014 NRL premiership and will face the defending premiers in their next sudden-death finals clash.

The NRL confirmed this evening that the Cowboys’ meeting with the Sydney Roosters will be played at Allianz Stadium on Friday night with a kick off time of 7.55pm.

It will be the first time North Queensland have played the Roosters at their home ground since round nine in 2010 when the visitors scored a 32-14 victory.

The Cowboys also beat the Roosters in their only meeting so far this season – 42-10 in round 10 at 1300SMILES Stadium.

Tickets for the second week of the 2014 NRL Telstra Premiership Finals Series matches will go on sale to at 10am tomorrow for ticketed members only.

Tickets for all fans will then go on sale from 10am Tuesday.
