• Lachlan Coote (knee): After rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the opening game of the Nines, the fullback will see a specialist today to determine a schedule for his surgery and rehabilitation. He will be sidelined for a minimum of six weeks. “I’m hoping I might be able to get some games in at the end of the year, but we’ll just have to see what happens,” Coote said. “I’ll work on my rehab as hard as I can. It will be a goal for myself to try and get back.”
• Rory Kostjasyn (foot): Ligament damage is expected to sideline the utility forward from this Saturday night’s trial against Gold Coast in Toowoomba.
• Hezron Murgha (knee): The fullback is continuing with his running program following his reconstruction surgery at the end of last season. He is now six months into his rehabilitation but is not expected to return to the playing field until mid-season.
