English hooker Scott Moore has finished his stint with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys and will return to England to pursue a career opportunity in Super League.

The 25-year-old, who made his NRL debut in round one last season and went on to play another five matches, had his last training session with his Cowboys teammates today.

He started in four NRL games in 2013 and made two appearances off the interchange bench.

“We have come to a mutual agreement with Scott that allows him to go home to England where he’ll be able to continue his rugby league career,” Cowboys general manager – football Peter Parr said.

“We have no plans at this stage to fill the vacancy his departure leaves in our squad and we wish Scott, and his partner Emma, all the best in the future.”
