Signed just before the start of the 2023 pre-season off the back of her Women’s Country Championship Player of the Year award, Blackwell showed her versatility in her first year at the Cowboys, playing in the halves and on the wing.
The Goulburn City Bulldogs junior was a mainstay at fullback for the Mackay Cutters Premiership-winning BMD team in 2024, with the 21-year-old finishing the competition in the top two for try assists, offloads and line break assists.
The 22-year-old has played 14 games across her first two seasons at teh club, starting at fullback, wing and in the halves.
Blackwell is signed until the end of 2025.
