A Cowboys team made up of a mixture NRL squad members and Young Guns players will take on the Townsville Blackhawks in a trial game at Jack Manski Oval on Saturday night.
Five NRL squad members from last weekend’s opening game of the Pre-Season Challenge are set to line-up for the Cowboys against the Blackhawks.
Ronald Philitoga has been named on the wing for his second appearance in Cowboys colours, while Zac Herdegen will steer the side from five-eighth.
The forward pack will boast three Cowboys NRL squad members in prop Matt Watts, along with hooker Xavier Kerrisk and second-rower Mason Kira.
Young Guns players Joseph Doyle and Maddox Goodwin will again suit up after appearing for the Cowboys against the Bulldogs last weekend.
The side will be coached by Cowboys Assistant Coaches Steve Sheppard and Jordan McLean.
Kick off is at 7pm.
