The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have agreed to an immediate release for utility Karl Lawton to take up an opportunity in the UK Super League.
Lawton appeared in 11 games during his sole season in North Queensland after arriving from Manly prior to the 2025 campaign.
The 30-year-old has appeared in 115 NRL games across 10 seasons.
“We wish Karl and his family well in their next adventures,” Cowboys General Manager of Football Micheal Luck said.
