The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have agreed to an immediate release for Kirra Dibb from the final year of her contract, which was slated to run through the 2026 season.
Dibb joined the Cowboys ahead of the club’s entry into the NRLW competition in 2023, serving as one of the Cowboys inaugural co-captains alongside Tallisha Harden.
“Kirra has made an enormous contribution to our club in her three seasons as a Cowboy. From the very beginning, she has brought strong direction and leadership, serving as an outstanding role model for our younger players aspiring to reach the NRLW,” Cowboys Head of NRLW & Women’s Elite Pathways Anita Creenaune said.
“We would like to thank Kirra and wish her the best of luck in the future.”
