Whitfeld books spot in Jillaroos squad

North Queensland Toyota Cowboys fullback Jakiya Whitfeld is set to line up for the Jillaroos in their Pacific Championships campaign later this month.

A Dally M Fullback of the Year nominee, Whitfeld had a standout season in her first year wearing the No.1 jersey, running for a career-high 1,559 metres at an average of 173 metres per game.

The Jillaroos will open their Pac Champs tilt against Samoa on Sunday, October 26, before a blockbuster against the Kiwi Ferns at Eden Park a week later.
