McLean calls time

North Queensland Toyota Cowboys prop Jordan McLean has today announced he will retire from rugby league following Saturday’s game against the Brisbane Broncos.

The 33-year-old has appeared in 241 NRL games over the course of a magnificent NRL career.

A product of Young in southern NSW, McLean made his NRL debut for the Melbourne Storm in 2013 and would play 86 games for the club over five seasons, including the 2017 grand final victory over North Queensland.

McLean arrived in North Queensland prior to the 2018 season, with his 155 appearances for the club ranking 17th in club history.

He also registered eight appearances for the Kangaroos, including the 2017 World Cup Final triumph over England.
