Dunn names six schoolboys to make U20s debuts

North Queensland Toyota Cowboys U20s Head Coach Mitch Dunn has named six incoming Young Guns to make their NRLQ debuts in this Sunday's clash against the Brisbane Broncos.

Mackay's Declan Grady, Cairns' Cayde Miller, Townsville trio Sitiveni Afu, Lincoln Baker and Eneliko Savelio and the Gold Coast's Taj Lateo will all make the step up for the first time at Kayo Stadium this weekend. 

All six, who are currently part of the Bucks program, will join the Young Guns in 2026. 

Cowboys trio Jamal Shibasaki, Zac Herdegen and Maddox Goodwin, all still eligable for NRLQ, name been named to play Queensland Cup this weekend. 

The Cowboys have a two-win, two-loss record so far in the NRLQ, with this Sunday's game the final away fixture of the season before returning home to take on the Titans on August 2.
