Cowboys Old Boys reunite in record numbers this Saturday

More than 70 North Queensland Toyota Cowboys former players will descend on Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Saturday night for the club's annual Old Boys Day.

It will be the largest turn out of any Old Boys Day in Cowboys history as the club continues to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

This year’s Old Boys Day sees the Cowboys NRL side take on the Bulldogs, a rematch of the club’s inaugural game in Rd 1, 1995.

The list of attendees is headlined by Life Members Paul Bowman, Matthew Bowen, Jake Granville and Gavin Cooper as well as Hall of Famer Matt Sing.

Premiership winners Lachlan Coote, Michael Morgan and Justin O'Neill will also be in attendance.

Other faces Cowboys fans can expect to see include Cowboy No.1 Laurie Spina, fellow inaugural Cowboys Paul Galea, Dean Schiffiliti, Wayne Sing, Willie Morganson, Andrew Whittington, Shane Christensen and Leigh Groves, 2005 grand finalist Paul Rauhihi and 2011 Paul Bowman Medalist Ash Graham.

The Old Boys will form a guard of honour for the NRL team when they take the field against the Bulldogs on Saturday night.

A commemorative poster of the Cowboys 30-Year Team will be available for collection at the Membership Tent.
