The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys are proud to announce a two-year extension of our major partnership with BMD, Australia’s leading integrated engineering, construction and urban development business, continuing a long-standing collaboration which has been instrumental to the club’s success both on and off the field.
Since joining the Cowboys family in 2005, BMD has played a key role in supporting our coaching staff and community initiatives. As the Coaching Team Partner throughout the Paul Green era and early stages of Todd Payten’s tenure, their commitment to North Queensland reflects a strong alignment of shared values.
Cowboys CEO Jeff Reibel welcomed the extended agreement, highlighting the importance of strong partnerships in driving the club forward.
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with BMD, who have been loyal partners of the Cowboys for over two decades,” Reibel said.
“With their deep commitment to supporting our local community, the partnership aligns seamlessly with the values we uphold as a club.”
Under the renewed agreement, fans and members can look forward to an exciting new game day activation, with the introduction of the BMD Try Zone in Northern Bays 117, 118 and 119, bringing a fresh experience to match days throughout the season and targeted giveaways to support the Cowboys at home.
The extension comes at a fitting time, with BMD recently marking more than 30 years of operation in North Queensland, and a brand refresh announced earlier this week, aligning with the company’s growth strategy focused on collaborative partnerships, diversification, and international expansion.
BMD CEO Scott Power expressed his pride in continuing as a major partner, especially in the club’s milestone year.
“BMD’s partnership with the North Queensland Cowboys continues to be successful because we share similar values and we’re aligned in a team-orientated culture,” Power said.
“We’re driven by a purpose of powering futures and creating enduring legacies through a commitment to collaboration. We achieve this in not only the infrastructure solutions we deliver that connect and transform communities, but the way we take a partnership approach in all that we do.
“We’re passionate about creating opportunities and pathways into construction for the next generation of regional Queensland and we’re looking forward to activating the Cowboys try zone, to not only bring the fan spirit alive as the Cowboys embark on their anniversary season, but also to engage our next generation of engineering and construction professionals.”
BMD has supported the Cowboys with numerous projects on and off the field, including community and grassroots initiatives and working together for the benefit of regional Queensland. As Major Partner, BMD will now activate the try zone, optimising the fan experience and providing an insight into the work of construction.
