The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have agreed to three-year deals with Kiwi Ferns duo Abigail Roache and Najvada George, running through the 2027 NRLW season.
A premiership winner with the Knights in 2023, Roache has emerged as one of the standout centres in the NRLW over the past two seasons, scoring nine tries in 20 games for Newcastle.
The 24-year-old has appeared in eight Tests for the Kiwi Ferns under Cowboys NRLW Head Coach Ricky Henry, including three following the 2024 season.

Still aged just 25, George is already a veteran of the NRLW after making her debut for the Dragons in 2019.
A powerfully built middle forward, George has appeared in 27 NRLW games over the course of four seasons for the Dragons, Eels and Wests Tigers. She has also registered six Tests for the Kiwi Ferns, including three following the 2024 season.
Also a talented basketballer, George played in the WNBL as a teenager for the Dandenong Rangers and represented the Australian under 17s.
“Abigail is a proven top-line centre at NRLW and International level,” Henry said.
“She is a great person, she works hard and seeks regular feedback to improve her game, which are all the traits you look for as a coach.
“Najvada has a great understanding of the game, she has a really good mix of running hard and ball-playing.
“She is one of those players who is a pleasure to coach, she is selfless with a team-first winning mentality.
“We are really excited for both players to join our club for 2025 and beyond.”
