Seven Cowboys named for this weekend's 9s Premier League

Seven former North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have been named for this weekend’s Nines Premier League tournament on the Gold Coast.

Former Cowboys Ben Hannant, Jordan Kahu, Josh McGuire, Anthony Mitchell, Blake Leary, Willie Mason and James Segeyaro as well as current Cowboys assistant coach James Maloney*, are all set to take the field this Friday and Saturday at Tugan Seahawks Leagues Club.

Other former NRL players named include Sam Thaiday, Greg Bird, Corey Norman, Jason Nightingale, Josh Hoffman and Andrew Fifita.

Founded by Cowboy #233 Anthony Mitchell, the weekend has a big charity focus, with 100% of proceeds from raffle tickets sold going directly to communities in need through GIVIT.

Gates open on Friday at 7.30am and Saturday at 9.30am. Tickets can be bought here.
