Eight North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Young Guns have been named for Saturday morning’s Under 21s Qualifying Final in Brisbane.
Young Guns Ragarive Wavik, Elekana Suavai, Reece Foley, Zack Lamont, Henry Teutau, Kurt Fisher, Jamal Shibasaki and Matthew Hunter have all been named for the third-placed Blackhawks, while Jeremiah Mata’utai will also be available following the completion of the Queensland Cup regular season.
The Blackhawks finished the regular season with the best attack (41.4ppg) and best defence (15.4ppg) and are on a five-game winning streak.
Fullback Ragarive Wavik leads the competition in both tries (14) and goals (66), while halfback Zack Lamont leads the competition in line break assists (13) and is fourth in try assists (9).
Saturday’s final against the Brisbane Tigers kicks off at 10am.
