Fresh faces selected in Round 8 Team of the Week

In a week headlined by upsets and dominant victories, it's little surprise to see several new faces voted into the NRL Team of the Week from Round 8!

North Queensland's stunning result over the Eels saw four players selected for the first time this season — Kyle Feldt joining forwards Reuben Cotter, Jeremiah Nanai and Jason Taumalolo in the fan-voted team.

The Cowboys' four players were the equal most of any team, joining the Storm in their dominance of the Team of the Week, who again had three of their spine — along with an outside back — featured.

Ryan Papenhuyzen, Cameron Munster and Harry Grant were all strong selections after they starred in their side's thrashing of the Knights, while Justin Olam continued his strong start to the year with selection in the centres.

Xavier Coates was unlucky to miss out after his fine try-scoring efforts; Josh Addo-Carr's starring role in the Bulldogs' upset over the Roosters seeing him voted in.

Kotoni Staggs earned selection in the other centre spot after he shone in the Broncos' upset win over Cronulla — joining teammate Kurt Capewell in the team — while James Fisher-Harris returned arguably his finest performance of the season to help the Panthers finish over the top of the Titans on the Gold Coast.
