Five Cowboys return to Q-Cup action this Saturday

Five North Queensland Toyota Cowboys will return to Queensland Cup action this weekend, following the relaxation of some Apollo protocols, which includes allowing players inside the bubble to play reserve grade.

Trio Lachlan Burr, Corey Jensen and Griffin Neame will line up for the Townsville Blackhawks against the Ipswich Jets at Jack Manski Oval on Saturday at 4pm.

Meanwhile, Peter Hola and Jeremiah Nanai will join the Northern Pride in Cairns for their clash against the Sunshine Coast Falcons at 5.30pm on Saturday.

Currently, the NRL’s Apollo Protocols do not allow commercial travel or accommodation, meaning the Mackay Cutters allocated players will miss their game against Redcliffe on Sunday afternoon.

The Cutters will be back in action next Saturday when they take on the Ipswich Jets in Mackay.
