Cowboys duo ranked fourth-best wing combination of NRL era

Former North Queensland Toyota Cowboys duo Matt Sing and Ty Williams have ranked fourth in NRL.com’s analysis of the best wing pairings of the NRL era.

Despite only playing 51 games together, the pair scored a remarkable 70 tries at a rate of 1.37 per game, just behind Penrith Panthers’ 2003 Premiership-winning duo Luke Rooney and Luke Lewis.

Williams sits third on the club’s all-time leading try-scorers list with 85 four-pointers, while Sing is seventh with 73.
