North Queensland Toyota Cowboys captain Michael Morgan underwent a washout on his surgically repaired right shoulder after scans revealed an infection last Friday.
Cowboys medical staff are pleased with his recovery and do not anticipate the procedure to impact his return to play, which is expected to be within the next six to eight weeks.
