Light up the dawn on Anzac Day

In a different world, the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys would be preparing for our Anzac Day tribute match against the Bulldogs this Saturday, celebrating our current and former serving members with our passionate community.

Call to light up the dawn

Anzac Day will look different this year, but we encourage everyone to remember all those who have served and sacrificed for the lifestyle we enjoy today.

Here are some ways you can get involved!

'Light up the Dawn' – RSL Queensland

Stand in your driveway, on your balcony or in your living room at 6am this Saturday to remember all those who have served and sacrificed.

You can stream a short commemorative service from wherever you are at home and can also 'pledge your place' to show your commitment.

For more information, visit rslqld.org.

Anzac Day National Service

The traditional commemorative service will be televised and streamed online from the Australian War Memorial, with the pre-service program at 5am and the national service at 5.30am.

'Light a candle' – Legacy Queensland

Legacy Australia urgently needs the help of the community to continue to support the 52,000 widows and families in their care during these unprecedented times.

By gifting a donation for Legacy's virtual 'Light a Candle' campaign, you can dedicate a candle to someone or leave a message of support and appreciation for those who have sacrificed everything for our nation.
