Former North Queensland Toyota Cowboys greats Matt Bowen and Glenn Hall will headline a star-studded basketball curtain-raiser prior to the Townsville Fire’s WNBL home opener on Friday night at Townsville Stadium.
Hall has named former Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds and the Townsville Crocs all-time leader in games Peter Crawford in his line-up for the clash with the Fire Legends.
The curtain raiser tips off at 6pm, with the Townsville Fire taking on the Adelaide Lightning from 7pm.
