2019 season review: Gideon Gela-Mosby

Just as Gideon Gela-Mosby appeared to be establishing himself as a regular in Paul Green’s side, the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys winger suffered a broken collar bone.

Gela-Mosby began the year in the Queensland Cup with the Northern Pride and would have to wait until Round 11 for his first taste of NRL in 2019.

He had some promising touches in his season debut against Canberra, but the following week suffered the injury attempting to score an acrobatic try in a victory over the Titans.

Gela-Mosby returned to action with the Pride in Round 18 and managed one more NRL appearance in Round 21 against Brisbane.

The 22-year-old departed the Cowboys at the end of the 2019 season.
