2019 season review: Carlin Anderson

Carlin Anderson endured a torrid run of injuries during his tenure at the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys and his 2019 season appeared as if it may have been headed in the same direction after an ugly collision in Round 1.

Fortunately, Anderson was able to return in Round 6 and was able to play out the remainder of the season for Mackay in the Queensland Cup.

The 23-year-old split his season between fullback, wing and centre and produced a number of impressive performances.

In Round 16 Anderson ran riot against the CQ Capras, scoring two tries and booting four goals for an individual tally of 16 points in a thrilling 28-24 Cutters victory.

Anderson departed the Cowboys at the end of 2019 after two seasons at the club.
