SKY DECK: Some of the best views on offer from the top tier of the Western grandstand with bar.

Impressive, sweeping views of Townsville city and surrounds on the top tier of the new North Queensland Stadium is just one hospitality facility in a range released by the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys today.

Hosting and networking opportunities are taking on a new look with non-traditional and dedicated spaces that are designed to create an immersive atmosphere.

No one need miss a moment of on-field action, with all areas, including elevated terraces and bars, internal restaurants and open-air boxes, offering views of the game.

Hospitality facilities are now available to purchase with first-class food and beverage options, packaged to purchase for all 12 home games in the 2020 NRL season.

Each facility offers match day hospitality from formal catering and light refreshments, to BBQ style food and beverage options.

The release of corporate packages follows a lengthy preparation as Cowboys CEO Jeff Reibel explains.

“We have been working closely with Stadiums Queensland, Pandanus Catering, our network of current corporate members, and various stakeholders to ensure we capitalize on the new, state-of-the-art facilities,” Reibel said.

“It’s a new and exciting start for the Cowboys, the city and region, and we’re pleased to invite the public to join us next season as a member.”

There are 500 more places available to corporate members in North Queensland Stadium than in 1300SMILES Stadium.

According to Cowboys head of corporate and consumer partnerships Dean Payne this availability, combined with the variety of options, is unprecedented.

“You can’t capture the thrill of live sport any other way than being there, and we have got every type of experience on offer with a range of hospitality packages and facilities," he said.

“It’s about who you share the experience with, whether you’re entertaining clients or your own family or friends – there’s nothing else on offer like this in North Queensland.”

The new best-practice stadium is located within the Townsville City Waterfront Priority Development Area, adjacent to the Townsville Central Business District.

“Many of our current corporate members have businesses in the city area and having the stadium close-by will add a level of convenience that will assist them and attract new members,” Payne said.

Before going public with the 2020 hospitality packages, the club started transitioning 2019 full season members in mid-August.

“Our 2019 corporate members got the first opportunity to choose their place within the new facility, meaning we’ve already sold dedicated grandstand seats, tables and boxes,” Payne said.

“With the variety of options on offer we’re confident of appealing to a wide range of people – including those who might not have considered becoming a corporate member before.”

Corporate members will have an exclusive entry to their chosen facility and will receive packaged benefits and can include invitations to exclusive events, corporate gifts and discounts.

Packages start at $70 per person per game and increase in value with inclusions, hospitality packages and field perspective.

The Cowboys have launched a new website cowboys.com.au/hospitality with their 2020 corporate packages today.

The club’s corporate partnerships team are available to assist with enquiries over the phone or in person at the corporate sales centre in Townsville’s City Arcade from Monday to Friday.
