Round 17, 2009: 3 club milestones and a Mango double

Ahead of Saturday afternoon's clash against the Cronulla Sharks at 1300SMILES Stadium, we thought we'd look back at a previous classic match-up between the two sides.

North Queensland Toyota Cowboys head coach Neil Henry has made four changes to his side ahead of Saturday’s clash against the Cronulla Sharks at Dairy Farmers Stadium (7:30pm).

It’s milestones galore, with Luke O’Donnell and Johnathan Thurston to play their 100th game for the club, while Aaron Payne will also play his 150th in Cowboys colours.

In an added boost for Henry, he welcomes back fullback Matt Bowen, who returns to the starting side after missing two weeks with a rib injury, forcing Ty Williams back into the centres.

Grant Rovelli has been named at five-eighth, replacing the injured Travis Burns, who has been ruled out with a recurring knee injury.

Finally, second-rower Carl Webb and lock Luke O’Donnell returns from injury, forcing Steve Southern and Manase Manukafoa back to an extended six-man bench.
