Three Cowboys lead the way in All Stars voting

After the first week of NRL All Stars voting, three North Queensland Toyota Cowboys currently lead the way in their respective positions ahead of next month's game at AAMI Park, Melbourne.

With nearly 14,000 votes (41.8%), new Cowboys recruit Ben Barba leads the fan vote for the Indigenous All Stars fullback position ahead of South Sydney Rabbitohs no. 1 Greg Inglis (34.2%).

Meanwhile, Te Maire Martin (44.3%) paces the voting for the Maori All Stars five-eighth position, leading the Newcastle Knights Kalyn Ponga (32.5%).

Front-rower Jordan McLean has polled well over the opening week alongside Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Jesse Bromwich for the Maori prop spots.

Fan voting closes on January 30, with the team being announced on February 1.

The Harvey Norman NRL All Stars Game will be played at AAMI Park on Friday, February 15 with kick off set down for 8pm (ADST).
