2019 match-up v Knights

Cowboys v Knights

Round 22, Saturday, August 17, McDonald Jones Stadium

Looking ahead: The Cowboys will travel to Newcastle for the first time since the premiership-winning 2015 season for a Round 22 showdown with the Knights in Round 22.

Knights' changes: Boom centre Jesse Ramien will join the Knights after establishing himself as one of the brightest prospects in the game during his short career at Cronulla. Former Sharks teammate Edrick Lee will join him at the Knights, as will former Origin prop Tim Glasby and talented Kiwi half Mason Lino. Talented young trio Jack Cogger, Brock Lamb and Nick Meaney have all departed for rival clubs, while veteran forwards Chris Heighington and Jacob Lillyman have retired.

'Tatey says': I love what they've done with their squad, they're a club on the rise. Tim Glasby will add plenty of experience and culture from the Storm and I love Jesse Ramien and Edrick Lee from the Sharks. Mason Lino is a talented player too. They're going to be a lot better than what they were last year.
