2019 match-up v Sea Eagles

Cowboys v Sea Eagles

Round 13, Saturday, June 8, 1300SMILES Stadium

Looking ahead: The Cowboys and Sea Eagles will clash just once in the regular season for the third consecutive year. Des Hasler's men will make their first trip to North Queensland in more than two years for a Round 13 fixture at 1300SMILES Stadium.

Sea Eagles' changes: Hasler's return to the Northern Beaches is the major change at Manly for 2019. Shaun Lane and Akuila Uate are the only two regular first graders to depart, while young gun Tom Wright has been poached by rugby union's ACT Brumbies. Former NYC Player of the Year Kane Elgey is the only big-name recruit joining Manly in 2019.

Rosters:

Cowboys squad: Carlin Anderson, John Asiata, Kurt Baptiste, Ben Barba, Logan Bayliss-Brow, Scott Bolton, Javid Bowen, Jake Clifford, Gavin Cooper, Reuben Cotter, Mitchell Dunn, Kyle Feldt, Tom Gilbert, Jake Granville, Ben Hampton, Coen Hess, Corey Jensen, Ethan Lowe, Nene Macdonald, Te Maire Martin, Jordan McLean, Francis Molo, Michael Morgan, Gideon Gela-Mosby, Justin O'Neill, Tom Opacic, Emry Pere, Dan Russell, Matthew Scott, Murray Taulagi, Jason Taumalolo, Enari Tuala, Kurt Wiltshire, Shane Wright

Sea Eagles squad: Daly Cherry-Evans, Cade Cust, Kane Elgey, Brendan Elliot, Manase Fainu, Addin Fonua-Blake, Tevita Funa, Reuben Garrick, Jack Gosiewski, Trent Hodkinson, Albert Hopoate, Brian Kelly, Semisi Kioa, Api Koroisau, Brad Parker, Taniela Paseka, Lloyd Perrett, Toafofoa Sipley, Curtis Sironen, Moses Suli, Kelepi Tanginoa, Jorge Taufua, Martin Taupau, Joel Thompson, Jake Trbojevic, Tom Trbojevic, Corey Waddell, Dylan Walker, Frank Winterstein

'Tatey says': Dessy will definitely bring something to them that's for sure, he's a good coach regardless of what anyone says. They might be one or two players short of being a real force, but I think the Dessy factor will have a huge impact on Manly.
