Season review: Ethan Lowe

A regular in Paul Green's side for each of the previous three seasons, Ethan Lowe battled through a trying 2018 season.

After starting in his usual right second row spot for the opening two games of the season, Lowe transitioned into a role off the interchange until Round 10.

Lowe spent the majority of the next three months plying his trade for the Northern Pride in the Queensland Cup.

The 27-year-old returned to the NRL for the final three games of the season and was impressive off the bench.

Lowe opted to take up a one-year option for the 2019 season and will look to regain his status as a first grade regular for the Cowboys.

2018 stats:

Games: 15
Average runs: 9
Average run metres: 81
Average tackles: 20
Effective tackle percentage: 90%
