Cowboys wrap: Still eligible for the under-20s, Kurt Wiltshire has been in sensational form since being elevated to the Queensland Cup. The 20-year-old has scored tries in four of his five appearances for the Cutters to go along with averages of 108 running metres and two tackle-breaks a game. Fellow Cowboys contract players Mitchell Dunn and Sam Hoare have also been key cogs for the Cutters appearing in every game this season.

Cowboys wrap: Paul Green declared earlier this week Francis Molo was closing in on a promotion to the NRL and on statistics alone it's easy to see why. The hard-running prop has been in devastating touch for the Blackhawks in the last fortnight, running for 157 metres against Norths in Round 7 and followed that up with a 176-metre effort which earned him man of the match honours in Round 8. Centre Shaun Hudson is yet to miss a game for the Blackhawks in 2018.

Cowboys wrap: Four young Cowboys stars will feature for the Cutters this weekend, including Michael Bell and Garrett Smith who are still eligible for under-18s. Hooker Sam Murphy has been one of the Cutters' best in 2018, averaging an outstanding 79 running metres a game from dummy-half. Second-rower Jye Anderson has been destructive with ball in hand, breaking five or more tackles in three separate games and has run for at least 100 metres in all but two of his eight appearances.

Cowboys wrap: The high-flying Blackhawks have three young Cowboys in their Round 9 side, including hooker Sean Mullany and prop Logan Bayliss, who have both featured in all but one game this season. Second-rower Tom Gilbert has been elevated to the Colts from the under-18s in recent weeks and has already nailed down a starting gig.

Cowboys wrap: All three of the Cowboys-contracted trio of Wiremu Greig, Connor Luhan and Peter Hola have been in strong form for the Pride. Workhorse front-rower Greig has run for at least 100 metres in four of his five appearances and boasts a season average of 128 metres.
