Partnership you can bank on!

Long term sponsors of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys are set to convert their Staff and Members pride for their team into new products and team memberships as the club’s ‘Official Banking Partner’, Queensland Country Credit Union, re-signs.

Continuing as a major partner on a multi-year deal, Queensland Country are proud supporters of the North’s premiership winning team and saw the chance to give their staff the full Cowboys experience as a ‘no-brainer’.

Queensland Country CEO Aileen Cull said that their partnership with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys was one that their whole team got behind and that their Members recognised as great for the community.

“We’ve been long term supporters of the Cowboys with our sponsorship stretching back to 2004 and are proud of the community work that we’ve been able to partner with the Cowboys on through our sponsorship.

“The Cowboys are more than an NRL club with community programs created especially for school participation, career pathways for youth and education for students in disadvantaged areas.

“Much of this work is in areas where our Members live and work and we’re especially proud of being able to provide career pathways for some of the program participants through Queensland Country.

“Our Staff are proud of the partnership and this year we’re taking the extra step of signing our Staff up as Members of the club with each of the staff Members proudly displaying their member number on their email signatures.”

The partnership will also involve a dedicated range of Cowboys-Queensland Country products including a Cowboys home loan offer, and special Cowboys-inspired Visa Debit Card.

“Our Cowboys Credit Card has long been popular with our Members and we’ve heard the calls for a Visa Debit option, which will be available from next month. Members will now be able to show their pride with every tap of their card.

“We’re going one further and creating a home loan product especially for Cowboys fans too.”

Cowboys CEO Greg Tonner said the club was delighted to have a long-time partner re-commit to a major sponsorship, which would provide great benefits for members of both organisations.

“Queensland Country is an established business in regional Queensland and their community focus is a perfect fit for us,” Mr Tonner said.

“We’re looking forward to all that this partnership can bring for seasons to come.”
