Cowboys named for Auckland clash

North Queensland Toyota Cowboys head coach Paul Green has elevated veteran prop Scott Bolton into his starting lineup for Saturday's Round 5 clash with the Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium.

Bolton replaces injured front-rower Jordan McLean, who is scheduled to miss significant time with a foot injury suffered in Round 4.

Young forward Corey Jensen joins the interchange and is slated to play his first match in the NRL since Round 2. Jensen is joined on the bench by utility Te Maire Martin and forwards John Asiata and Ethan Lowe.

Fullback Lachlan Coote has again been named on the extended bench after missing the start of the season with a hamstring injury.

Coote made a successful return to the field with Mackay in the Queensland Cup last weekend.

Saturday's match is the second game in an NRL double-header in Auckland and kicks off at 7.30pm local time.
