Ahead of the highly-anticipated ‘A Night with Cam and JT’ testimonial match next month, North Queensland Toyota Cowboys co-captain Johnathan Thurston was joined at Cowboys HQ by his biggest fans – daughters Frankie (4) and Charlie (3) – to unveil the official Cowboys Testimonial jersey.
The unique jersey will be worn by the Cowboys for the pre-season clash with fellow 2017 grand finalists Melbourne Storm at Suncorp Stadium on Friday 23 February.

Designed collaboratively by the Cowboys legend himself and wife Samantha, the jersey is a must-have piece for rugby league fans and represents all the major influences that have helped shape Thurston’s outstanding NRL and representative playing career.
Australia, Queensland, Indigenous and Cowboys jerseys all feature prominently in the design.
Thurston’s number 7 retail jersey sports a special thank you and his name on the back, as well as the three-time Golden Boot winner’s rugby league achievements cleverly incorporated into his iconic 7.
The retail jersey is now available for pre-order through the Cowboys Team Shop and will be in-store from mid-February.
“Sam and I thought long and hard about the design, and the final product is something we are both really proud of,” Thurston said.
“I really wanted to capture all the incredible opportunities I’ve experienced throughout my career and pay tribute to the clubs and teams that I’ve had the privilege to represent.
“The testimonial match itself is a huge honour, and a chance to celebrate the achievements of my mate, Cam Smith – I hope everyone gets out to support the event,” Thurston said.
