The competition, run by the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys, is a unique opportunity for the winning artist to showcase their design and heritage on the National Rugby League stage.

Cowboys general manager community, Fiona Pelling, said the competition is something the club is proud to host, giving the Indigenous community an opportunity to feel even more connected to the team.

“We work closely with the Indigenous community on a number of our existing programs, so the design competition is just another way for us to collaborate and help showcase their culture to all of Australia,” Ms Pelling said.

The winner will receive a cash prize of $2,500, four 2019 Platinum Star memberships with season parking and a 2019 Indigenous jersey featuring their design!

Entries comprising artwork, design story and a signed, completed entry form will be accepted by email, in person or by post until 5pm, Friday 2 March (no late entries considered), with a limit of one entry per person.

For more information, and to submit your entry, please contact the Cowboys Community Team on community@cowboys.com.au
