Enjoying a cold drink with friends at the footy has really paid off for North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Diamond Star member Carly Bidgood, after she won a XXXX Saloon Upgrade for the Round 24 home game at 1300SMILES Stadium.
A promotion hosted by major partner Lion (XXXX) to launch the new-look Summer Members Bar earlier this season, the competition saw Cowboys members enter by purchasing an eligible drink for the chance to win a corporate suite upgrade for eight people, including footy/bar food and a drink package!
A Mt Isa expat, and Townsville local of five years, Carly said the prize came as a huge surprise.
“It was such a surprise to win this, as I never win anything … I was super excited,” she said.
While husband Craig had to fly to work in the mines, Carly enjoyed the night with seven of her close friends and was even more glad to be part of the Cowboys family.
“Why wouldn’t you be a member! You couldn’t live here and not be one, to have live football on your doorstep is fantastic and it was great to take along friends to enjoy it with me.
“I haven’t always followed the Cowboys but since living here for the last five years they have become my team - we have great seats, we have met players, we love the members bar and we get great deals on a lot of things like merchandise and tickets.
“I definitely encourage anyone who lives here to get on board and become a member - you won’t regret it!”
